Tour Plan
Day 1 : Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Cultural Triangle
Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport. Meet your Italian-speaking National Guide and transfer to the Cultural Triangle (approx. 3.5 – 4 hours).
This region is considered the historical heart of Sri Lanka and offers impressive archaeological and cultural sites.
Depending on arrival time, relax at the hotel or enjoy a short village walk.
Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya / Dambulla.
Day 2 : Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa

Day 3 : Dambulla – Kandy
Visit Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring impressive Buddha statues and ancient murals.
Continue to Kandy with a stop at a Spice Garden in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka’s famous spices and Ayurvedic traditions.
In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world.
Optional evening cultural dance performance.
Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 4 : Kandy – Botanical Gardens – Tea Country
After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, famous for orchids, palm avenues and tropical plants.
Optional visit to an elephant care center to observe elephants in a protected environment.
Continue to Nuwara Eliya through scenic mountain roads covered with tea plantations.
Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 5 : Tea Plantation – Ella – Safari Region
Visit a tea factory to learn about Ceylon tea production and enjoy a tasting session.
Optional scenic train ride through the hill country (subject to availability).
Stop in Ella for panoramic views and Ravana Falls.
Continue to Yala or Udawalawe for overnight stay.
Dinner and overnight near the national park.
Day 6 : Safari – Southern Coast
Early morning Jeep Safari in Yala or Udawalawe National Park.
Possible sightings include:
- Elephants
- Leopards (in Yala)
- Crocodiles
- Peacocks and exotic birds
After the safari, drive toward the southern coast.
Dinner and overnight stay in a beach resort.
Day 7 : Galle – Beach Relaxation
After breakfast, visit Galle Fort, a UNESCO-listed colonial town built by the Portuguese and expanded by the Dutch.
Walk along:
- The fort ramparts
- Lighthouse
- Dutch Reformed Church
- Colonial streets
Continue to your beach hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 : Beach Leisure
Free day at leisure to relax by the Indian Ocean.
