Day 1

Arrival in Colombo.
Visit the city full of Hindu and Buddhist temples, mosques and ancient Christian churches.

Day 2

Colombo – Wilpattu – Anuradhapura
Departure for Anuradhapura and stop at Wilpattu National Park for a mini jeep safari to spot the animals that populate the reserve. Arrival in Anuradhapura.

Day 3

Anuradhapura/ Jaffna (Km. 196 via A9, 3.30 hours)

Day 4

Jaffna

Day 5

Jaffna/ Sigiriya
Full board. Day dedicated to exploring the surroundings of Jaffna. Immediately outside the city you are projected into a green landscape of palm trees, colorful temples, sacred springs and sunny coasts: you will visit the ruins of Kantarodai, the springs of Keerimalai, and the islands of Karaitivu and Velanai (connected to the mainland by panoramic causeways , almost at sea level, overlooking the fishermen’s activities). stop along the route at the Elephant Pass, the collection point of the elephants coming from central Sri Lanka, which from here were then marched to Kaits and embarked on ships departing for India. Day 6

Sigiriya/ Polonnaruwa/ Sigiriya

Day 7

Sigiriya/Dambulla/ Kandy
In the morning departure for Dambulla to visit the beautiful temples dug into the caves (the temples are located on the top of a hill with 400 steps, the climb takes approximately 50 minutes) and to visit the spice market. Day 8

Kandy/Nuwara Eliya/ Kandy
Full board. In the morning departure for Nuwara Eliyia renowned for its views with rich tea plantations. It is a charming mountain station, founded by the English, which still retains its typically colonial atmosphere intact (1889 meters above sea level). The style of this ”English village” can be found in the hotels, villas, golf courses and racecourse. After lunch in Nuwara Eliiya you can take a walk around the city. Day 9

Kandy/ Pinnawella/ Colombo
Start of free morning in Kandy and then departure for Colombo with a stop at the Pinnawela elephant orphanage. Arrival in Colombo and overnight stay
